Our first day. July 2017
Anya Braid Bar opened in July 2017 as a kiosk at the Glendale Galleria — one of the first mobile braid bar concepts in the Los Angeles area. What started as a walk-in braiding service quickly grew into something bigger. By 2018 we had fallen in love with doing private events, working with brands like Guess?, Macy's, and Kendra Scott, and bringing our braid bar to festivals including the Hard Summer Music Festival — our biggest event to date.
Since 2021 we've focused exclusively on private events and parties across Los Angeles and Orange County, and we haven't looked back. Nearly 9 years in, we're proud to be one of the most experienced mobile braiding services in Southern California.
Today we offer a full menu of party entertainment services — hair braiding, hair tinsel, glitter and glam tattoos, and face painting — all bookable through us for a seamless experience.
Meet Anna, Owner
“My name is Anna — Anya to my friends — and I've been obsessed with braids since I was a little girl. I've always been drawn to intricate, soft, feminine European braid styles, and I love bringing that artistry to parties across Los Angeles.
My biggest inspiration these days is my 7 year old daughter, who lives for dressing up and character styles — she's the reason our themed packages are so creative and detailed!
Over the years I've been fortunate to build a team of talented, passionate braiders who share my love for creativity and attention to detail. Together we've styled hundreds of events across Los Angeles and Orange County — and we're just getting started!"
